I purchased one of the 10 megapixel cameras christmas of 2006, I really enjoyed the ease and great pictures it produced. Then one day I placed the camera in my pocket while driving on a 3 hour trip. I took the camera ouf of my pocket and found that the led screen had cracked. I sent the camera in for repair as it was still under warrenty and CASIO would not cover it. LCD screens are not covered. I tried to reason with them as I have many CASIO products but to no avail. They sent the camera back and said it would be about 200.00 to repair it. So my advice is to put it into a case cover it with something soft and place it in a safe and never use it, if the screen cracks for no reason be prepared to pay for it.

Wow. Thanks for the information. I just bought a case for it this last weekend. I’ll remember to be careful with it.
Sorry you went through all that. Companies should do a better job of backing up their products.
